PancakeSwap Welcomes Ellipsis Finance to Syrup Pool!
CAKE holders, today we are thrilled to be able to offer you a new Syrup Pool from Ellipsis Finance, a decentralized exchange that allows for the swapping of stablecoins with low slippage and minimal fees on Binance Smart Chain.
The Syrup Pool:
Stake CAKE tokens to earn EPS tokens!
Total Tokens: 200,000 EPS
Distribution duration: 90 days
Start block: 6494400 (April 12th, 3PM SGT)
Finish block: 9086400 (July 11th, 3PM SGT)
Token rewards per block: 0.07716 EPS
The Farm:
In order to host the EPS Syrup Pool, we will need to provide a EPS-BNB farm that will have 2x CAKE rewards for the first 48 hours and then 1x CAKE rewards after that.
The Vote:
As usual, it needs to be approved via a vote.
Why do we need a vote? Since it dilutes rewards, the chefs want BSC’s greatest community to make the decision themselves.
What is Ellipsis Finance?
Ellipsis Finance officially launched in March 2021 as an authorized fork of Curve Finance. The two projects have much in common, however there are some differences. Ellipsis is an automated market maker (AMM) or exchange that allows users and other decentralized protocols to trade between different stablecoins with very low slippage compared to other AMM solutions.
The protocol initially supports swaps between BUSD, USDC & USDT (the Ellipsis 3pool). More pairs will be considered in the near future.
Ellipsis (EPS) is the native token on the platform and provides value for liquidity providers and token holders.
